A recent Deutsche Bank price survey pitting pricing of Private Label products from Aldi & Wal-Mart in two US markets found that Aldi offered consumers a 21% price advantage over Wal-Mart.
In the food basket category Aldi offered a 14% price advantage. In the household & personal care category Wal-Mart was priced almost 13% higher than Aldi.
